Earthquake Relief, Pakistan
In response to the earthquake in Pakistan, the team at Diplomat organised the short notice deployment of Mi-26 heavy lift aircraft to Islamabad, setting up a remote ops/coms office nearby. Taylor-made heavy lifting equipment including 20t capacity nets and straps were sourced for the aircraft. Diplomat also supported the operation with regular international airfreight movements and procurement of ground handling equipment.
