Urgent AOG Charter
A call came in from GB Airways at 12pm on a Saturday afternoon as they had an A320 AOG in Innsbruck with only 5 hours until the aircraft would be stuck there overnight.
At 12:45 one of the Diplomat team collected 2 engineers, a new brake block and a jack from London Gatwick and transported them to Farnborough Airport where DFS had a Challenger 601 waiting for them.
The team departed Farnborough at 14:10 and arrived into Innsbruck at 16:45 (local). The GB Airways A320 was back in service by 19:00hrs (local).
